Una actriz y una cineasta ensayan un guion cinematográfico. El guion recoge fragmentos del diario que María Dolores González Katarain, Yoyes, escribió durante su exilio en México entre 1980 y 1985, tras haber abandonado ETA, la organización armada que había dirigido. A medida que el guion progresa, destellos y referencias a otras mujeres afloran entre las palabras de Yoyes: Ulrike Meinhof, Simone de Beauvoir, Rocío Díaz Escobar, Alexandra Kollontai, Tina Modotti... Mientras tanto, afuera oscurece.
