Yelin Bilgin

Historia

Yelin Bilgin (1982) graduated from Saint Joseph French High School in 2001. After a brief stay in Perpignan (France) to study modern literature, she studied management of performing arts in Istanbul Bilgi University. During her studies, she worked as intern in various international organisations including music festivals, theatre and film productions and site specific installations. She gave support to the fundraising of "garajistanbul" in Istanbul. In 2006, she became a production assistant at Bimeras Culture Foundation. Until November 2009, she worked there as production and international relations coordinator of iDANS Istanbul International Contemporary Dance and Performance Festival. As part of her job, she also managed the tourings of Aydin Teker, Taldans Mustafa Kaplan-­Filiz Sizanli and Ayse Orhon. Currently, Yelin works as a freelance producer and represents her country at Aerowaves-­Dance Across Europe Network.
