Justin Zuckerman

Historia

Justin Zuckerman is a filmmaker, freelance copywriter, and amateur coffee roaster. Currently, Justin works at the Joe Coffee Roastery in Long Island City, Queens. Prior to his foray into the coffee world, he worked in the offices of Family Guy in Los Angeles. Justin was also the assistant to director Carl Erik Rinsch (47 Ronin). During that time, Justin assisted Carl in projects all over the world, including in Canada, Romania, and Kenya. Since graduating from Florida State University's film school, Justin has directed several short films including the MiniDV oddity "Christian's First Cigarette" and the anti-college "A Future of Success", which he made in association with Box Party Films and 5th Floor Pictures. Both of these shorts premiered on the popular online film platform NoBudge. Justin recently completed his debut feature film Yelling Fire In An Empty Theater. Shot on MiniDV, the film follows a young woman as she tries to start a life in New York City. Yelling Fire screened in competition at the 2022 Slamdance Film Festival.
