Durante la ocupación nazi, el charcutero Edmond Batignole (Gérard Jugnot), un hombre tímido y de carácter más bien débil, se convierte en proveedor oficial del ejército alemán gracias a Jean-Pierre, el novio de su hija, un colaboracionista que delata a los judíos. Cuando los Bernstein, vecinos de los Batignole, son arrestados y sus bienes confiscados, el piso que ocupaban es cedido a los Batignole. Un día, mientras Batignole ofrece una fiesta en su casa a los alemanes, llama a la puerta un niño: es el pequeño Simon Bernstein (Jules Sitruk), que ha logrado escapar y vuelve a casa para reunirse con los suyos.

Se venden cremas, elixires, relajación, sol de mentira... Nadine es la dueña y tiene tres tres esteticistas: Samantha, Marie y Angèle. Angèle hace tiempo que trabaja allí. Se ha amoldado perfectamente a aquel universo rosa, atenta y tranquila, desconectada del tiempo y del ruido.

In this very light romantic comedy, two young men who are in search of the hypothetical perfect woman believe they have found her at a wedding reception. There, they see Lisa. Alexandre is the shy one, but he is also the one with the greatest yen to meet such a woman. He and Romain track Lisa down the next day and, though she is already dating someone, when Romain approaches her, she agrees to meet the two of them at a restaurant. They are dismayed when the part-Italian girl brings her mother with her as a chaperone. Other difficulties arise as well, and they resolve that this quest is less important than their friendship. Besides, Alexandre has by now discovered the charms of Romain's younger sister.
