In the middle of the night, before they are to be sent to a Japanese American Internment Camp, one family buries a secret in their backyard garden. 80 years later, a clue is discovered and what begins as a mystery soon turns criminal as a family of different minds try to come together to discover the truth of their past.

Set in the 1800's of Scotland when servants didn't rise above their station comes a love story for the ages. As the master of Stratton castle lies dying he makes his son promise to take over the lands and find an appropriate match, however, unbeknownst to his father, Walter has already fallen in love with Jessie, a beautiful servant girl. Now he must fight against his forbidden passion for fear of scandal and ruin or risk it all for Jessie the Golden Hearted.
Cinematography
On his way up north to visit friends, BEN picks up a mutual acquaintance, SAM, from her apartment in the city. Instead of taking the Interstate, they both agree for the longer but more scenic coastal highway, exploring and developing a companionship. Upon reaching San Francisco later that evening, the two decide to divorce destination from conclusion and get back in their car to find out just how far the Pacific Coast Highway will take them. Along the route they wind through weathered towns, giant forests, state lines and the realization that the farther they go, the closer they become and those forces that kept them looking back are being left far behind.
