High above the Earth, Top Gun pilot turned astronaut Frank White commands his first Space Shuttle mission. While in orbit, the science team headed by Doctor Bender runs a critical experiment utilizing the unique properties of micro-gravity to cultivate a cure for the Ebola virus, the most lethal pathogen known to the human race. Back on Earth, an accident on the way to de-brief leaves the entire science team dead. Only Dr. Bender has survived. Suspecting foul play, Frank White infiltrates the hospital where Dr. Bender is quarantined, and learns from the critically injured scientist that the accident was arranged.

When a shipment of plutonium has been stolen by a former Soviet kingpin, with the rumored sale of it to Middle Eastern terrorists intent on making a nuclear bomb, a combined special forces unit is assembled by the U.S. military to recover the contraband and save the planet. But the elite task force -- made up of FBI agents Bill Murphy (Jerry Kokich) and Morgan Daniels (Caroline Strong) and military hotshots Webb Buckley (J. Christian Ingvordsen) and Bone Conn (Kayle Watson) -- is made up of conflicting personalities with conflicting methods of operation. When one of the team is killed, the call goes out for Top Gun Frank White (Frank Zagarino) to save the day -- and the world.

In the year 2005, the prison system has been completely privatized and cyber prisons have become the new means for housing the guilty. The bodies of inmates are kept in suspended animation while their minds are kept in a virtual reality prison. Business tycoon R.D. Crowley has found a way to capitalize on these virtual prisons by allowing rich men to pay in order to engage in a form of virtual reality hunting that has real-life consequences for the inmates. Will, a guard at one of these prisons, soon finds himself coerced into one of these virtual cat and mouse games. Armed with his knowledge of history, along with his expert skills in VR combat, Will must work with the inmates in order to save their lives and escape from the prison before it's too late.
