Ruby Akubueze

Set in socially conservative Nigeria, against the backdrop of a 2014 law that criminalises same-sex relationships, Intermission is the story of one young man's quest to do right by society while seeking no more than the space to love who he loves.

Femi is a widower with a son (Jason). He finds it difficult to get over his late wife and so in a bid to move on, he indulges in several uncommitted relationships.
