Mo is a gifted student in one of the village's dozens upon dozens of kung-fu schools. But when the master's away, he leaves the place in the hands of his best student Kang. But Kang rules with a cruel, iron fist. Little does anyone know, however, Kang is really the pupil of his Masters' old nemesis Ken Mo Fung 'The Golden Tiger'. Fung has instructed Kang to discredit the school publicly, then kill his Master by poisoning his tea.
Two rival clans have unsuccessfully tried to hire the master of the good clan to teach his clan. Not willing to take no for an answer, they frame the master for a dirty deed that he didn't commit, which forces him to kill a man in battle. The townspeople attempt to kill him and he is forced to flee to the evil clan.

Husker es llevado al templo Shaolin por el monje "Iron Fisted", luego de que éste le salvara la vida. Tras perfeccionarse en las artes marciales, huye del templo, sólo para enfrentarse a su maestro, quien lo obliga a pasar por cuatro pruebas. Mientras tanto, un agente manchú está violando a todas las mujeres de la zona, y acusan a Husker de ser el culpable. Husker vuelve a encontrarse con Iron Fisted, para convencerlo de la necesidad de enseñar las artes marciales a los lugareños, con el fin de que ellos puedan defenderse de los manchúes.
