Historia

Andrea is from Torreón, Coahuila Mexico. She is based in Los Angeles where she graduated from USC School of Cinematic Arts, majoring in Film & Television Production. Andrea is interested in the development of diverse stories exploring the depth of the human experience through themes of social justice and family dynamics. Her first documentary, Out of the Shadows, granted her the Sundance Ignite Fellowship 2018, as well as, Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today Fellowship through Hola Mexico Film Festival. Noche Sin Luciérnagas, her first short, is an official selection in Shorts Mexico. Sweet Potatoes, the first short she produced, is a finalist in the student Academy Awards. Andrea is a producer, director and writer who loves creating bridges and opportunities to work with artists across Latin America and the United States.
