Marion Fairfax (October 24, 1875 – October 2, 1970) was an American screenwriter and playwright. Born as Marion Neiswanger in Richmond, Virginia, After she graduated from Chicago's South Division High School, she enrolled in Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. She was married to actor Tully Marshall for forty-three years. Fairfax worked as a company director, director, editor, editorial director, playwright, producer, screenwriter and theatre actress.

One night at a dinner party, she informs Maure that she is engaged to young VIncent Pamfort and is leaving for England the next day to marry him. Maure tricks her into meeting him onboard a boat going to Palermo, and before they get there she suddenly grabs her and jumps overboard. They wind up in a fishing village on a small island and before long find themselves caught up in a cholera epidemic and a local criminal gang.

Espías alemanes y japoneses amenazan con destruir la estabilidad de Estados Unidos en el transcurso de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Un japonés, de acuerdo con el servicio de contraespionaje norteamericano, tratará de evitar que dichos espías lleguen más lejos en sus objetivos. Es curioso observar cómo al personaje de Sessue Hayakawa, en casi todas sus películas estadounidenses, le cupiera el dudoso "honor" de hacer gala de su americanismo para dejar bien claro que lo de sus ojos rasgados sólo era "un error de nacimiento". Esto daría para más de un tratado sobre la conveniencia de aparentar lo que la naturaleza no nos ha dotado. Disquisiciones aparte, aquí el buen y bajito Sessue se encarga de desmantelar toda una compleja trama de espionaje que atenta contra su país de adopción. Aunque no se queda con la "chica", faltaría más. Concesiones a los emigrados las que sea menester, pero tampoco sin pasarse.

Margaret MacLean, who has been saved from life in a wheelchair by the miracle of medicine, vows to devote her life to caring for crippled children. She becomes a nurse in the children's ward of Dr. MacLean's hospital, but after the beloved doctor's death, his son Bob returns home from abroad and decrees that he is closing the ward and that Margaret's little charges must leave the hospital. Furious, Margaret quits her job and storms out, with Bob in pursuit. As he rushes across the street, Bob is struck by a car and must be hospitalized. During his convalescence, he realizes that he is in love with Margaret and decides to have a home built for her and her patients. Unable to locate Margaret, Bob hires detectives, who find her and bring her to the home. There Margaret finds that all her dreams have come true as she sees her little charges happily living in their new home and gladly accepts Bob's proposal of marriage
