Está encantado de saber que su libro es un éxito sorpresa en México, pero cuando lo invitan allí para promocionarlo, pronto descubre por qué: su traductora al español, María, ha reescrito su aburrido libro como una novela erótica. Henry está furioso, y aún más cuando su editor insiste en que él y María realicen juntos una gira de libros por México. Los opuestos se atraen y la química entre la pareja hace que salten chispas.
