Historia

Born in Iran, 1982, Setareh Samavi graduated in film directing at the Sooreh University of Tehran in 2008 and received, in 2009, an MDA in Producing-Editing from RSICA (Jordania). After having had the chance to work with Kathryn Bigelow and Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette on their last films shot in Jordan, she’s been living in Brussels since 2016 and she got a Master degree in documentary filmmaking at DOC NOMADS. She has directed 7 short documentaries.
