Peter Wiegand

Biblical scholar, Torchbearers International – Austria Wiegand is a leading German Bible teacher and scholar who has studied the Exodus and the life of Moses for most of his career. In 1963, he led efforts to renovate the site of an 11th century castle in Austria called Schloss Klaus, which has become one of the homes of Torchbearers International, a Protestant retreat and educational center. “When God chose his person, he chose a highly intelligent man.”
