Thomas fue una vez conocido como un joven prodigio del tenis, pero nunca tuvo la carrera que esperaba. A los 37 años, a pesar de su deterioro físico y su rodilla rota, decide competir en las intensas rondas clasificatorias del Abierto de Francia en Roland-Garros para un último intento de gloria.
