Después de un largo matrimonio, Maria y Jeffrey han entrado en crisis. Intentando mantener unida a la familia, ella trata de convencer a sus hijos para que asistan al cumpleaños de la anciana abuela Asunta, propietaria de la bella casa en que viven. Pero sus hijos atraviesan una mala racha. Francesco es un escritor que se siente avergonzado de haber alcanzado la fama con un libro de ínfima calidad literaria, razón por la que su esposa le ha perdido el respeto. Marco es médico y es feliz con su familia, pero su mujer está decidida a tirarlo todo por la borda con tal de hacerse actriz. Mientras tanto, Miriam, que es una joven emancipada, descubre que está embarazada, pero no sabe cuál de sus amantes es el padre.

Francesca, la dueña de una fábrica de tallarines, está casada con el Príncipe Giordano Montorsi. A pesar de tener ya nueve hijos, adopta a Nunziata, una niña huérfana, para cumplir la promesa que hizo cuando una de sus hijas sobrevivió a una grave enfermedad. Nunziata será la única que se interese por el negocio familiar y terminará siendo el brazo derecho de Francesca en asuntos reconómicos; pero, cuando Federico, el hijo mayor, vuelva a casa, una vez terminados sus estudios en Londres, ambos se enamorarán y comenzarán una relación secreta

Cuenta la historia de algunos de los jóvenes internos del reformatorio Nisida, en Nápoles, comprometidos con la construcción de un teatro musical bajo la dirección del actor Assante. A través de las historias individuales de los chicos, la película presenta al espectador una perspectiva interesada en las difíciles cuestiones de la problemática juvenil en la Camorra napolitana.

After Annunziata (Angela Molina) opens up a hostel with her friend Antonio (Daniel Ezralow), she is saved from being raped by a Camorra boss as the gangster is suddenly killed. The killer escapes before Annunziata is able to see who it was. Following this murder are several others, and always with the same “signature” — a syringe in one of the testicles of the victims. As the gangsters continue to be killed off, the identity of the killer – or killers – slowly becomes obvious.

The last wish of Vito Fonseca dying is to be buried in his native Naples. And so it is. When the young and beautiful wife Fanny arrives in Naples, she discovers that her husband had a son, Ferdinando, a wife and a villa of which he is the sole heir.

La acción tiene lugar en la ciudad de Prato, donde Francesco se las ve y se las tiene con el desempleo, una relación difícil con su voluminosa madre, la chica que lo ha dejado, el vacío de un padre que murió cuando él era un niño... Una película sarcástica y tierna.

When one of his clients, don Michele Miletti (Paolo Stoppa) offers him a huge bribe (mazzetta) to search for his daughter who disappeared mysteriously taking with her some hot documents, Sasà finds himself trapped into a spiral of homicides.
