Todo cambia para la adinerada Ye Shuang cuando sucede la inesperada desaparición de su marido Ling Feng y de su hija. Tras contarselo a su padre Ye Cheng (Simon Yam), Shuang decide llamar a la policia, donde se reencuentra con su ex novio Yao Jie (Gordon Lam).
