Greece, Russia, USA, Brazil, China, Senegal. Meeting young people in these countries we heard a ‘Rumble’ foretelling an impending explosion. The fall of communism, crisis of capitalism, ecological catastrophes, migration waves, globalization. The new generation is at the forefront, exposed, helpless without being able to envision a more optimistic future. This ‘Rumble’ comes from this young generation. Their words, images, sounds and music compose the notes of an audio-visual symphony entitled: ‘The Rumble of the World’.

En un pequeño pueblo de Senegal, dos hermanos se enfrentan por el matrimonio de sus hijos. Dos visiones del mundo chocan, una moderada, la otra radical. The story is a contemporary version of the ancient Greek myth of Electra. Electra is a young girl foreigner in her own land, as well as in other lands. The only place she could seek her identity is her own private world that she tries to create. From Africa to Europe, the film is a puzzle composed by pieces of her broken identity. Electra's very journey is finally her own land.
