PelĂculas

Bullet
Director
The surface of the skull is smooth as marble, except for the fractures surrounding the small, round bullet hole. The camera penetrates this opening, revealing the rock-like landscape within, of deep ravines, jagged-edged craters, and bony reefs. Here and there we see a web hanging, inhabited by a spider. The gurgling and whooshing of the tapestry of sound intensifies the ominous atmosphere.
Sceneries II
Director
The word sceneries means both a place where a situation or action takes place and a theatre stage area. In a series of 360o movements, three different videos show clandestine, forbidden or isolated landscapes. Each scene has been staged and the situations has been built up from scratch. The images allude to the recent history of Lima, Peru, and it comes from the intersection of political and biographical images. The timeless and suspended landscapes suggest national memory as a silent and unresolved issue.
