Historia

An actor, born in Alexandria in 1977. He studied theater and philosophy at the American University, then traveled to England to study theater. Director Ossama Fawzy watched him at the university theater and assigned him a role in the movie Fallen Angels' Paradise (1999), then director Yousry Nasrallah chose him for a role in the movie The City (1999). In 2001, he played the role of Hamouda in the movie The Magician.

The City
Ali, an aspiring actor, works in a government-aided butchery, and takes a part in a cheap play, while his father wants him to start working in fruit trade. Ali pursues his long-lived dream of traveling abroad and flies to France with an acting troupe, where he starts living illegally alongside many other Arabs, and starts a life-changing experience that he won't remember fully until he returns to Egypt.
Fallen Angels' Paradise
Tabel abandons his luxurious family life in favor of a bohemian life with his eccentric marginalized friends. When Tabel dies, his daughter attempts to give him a decent burial, but his friends take the corpse away to bid him farewell in their own way.
