In August 2020, the American artist Lawrence Weiner presented TRACCE/TRACES, an exhibition produced by MACRO - Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Roma and curated by Luca Lo Pinto, designed to break out of its canonical spaces and take place in the sky. Ten banners flying in the sky traversed the stretch of coastline most frequented by Romans, from Ladispoli to Anzio. The film offers a private look at the reactions and reflections of bathers and passers-by.

TRACCE / TRACES took place in the sky, from August 16 to August 25 2020, through a series of aerial banners that flew along the Roman coastline. For ten consecutive days the works were visible to thousands of people on the beach.
