Ana Ofelia Floares is perhaps one of the most versatile filmmakers of the modern age. She was born in Bucharest, Romania on October 20, 2002 to Ofelia Alina Floares, a chemical engineer that pursued a career into PR management, and Octavian Constantin Floares, a marine officer that ultimately became a graphic designer. Floares studied since the 5th grade in the National Computer Science Highschool of Romania "Tudor Vianu", having astonishing accomplishments in mathematics, informatics and biology. She discovered the love for film from a young age. Her main influences are Stanley Kubrick and Jean-Luc Godard.
