At the end of 2020 I drove from Denver, Colorado to Philadelphia, PA with my father Ben. As we drove east, tracing a path that reversed the historical trajectory of westward expansion, we spoke about decolonization, climate change, and what we imagined might be next for our world.

A fascinating and affecting chronicle of the pioneering Sirens motorcycle club; the oldest and largest women-run motorcycle club in New York City. The history of the club, its place within NYC’s queer culture, and the impact it’s had on the lives of its members—now intergenerational and inclusive of trans women—is told largely in the members’ own voices and reflects the power of sisterhood within a chosen family.
