Erfan Chegini, born on February 20th 1999,
is an Iranian independent filmmaker,film student and producer. He is also a film critic and the chief editor of 30nama magazine. His artistic career as a filmmaker began in 2018 with a narrative short film Tale of City’s Sadness which won the first prize of iata(Iranian Anti-Tobacco Association) festival in New Ideas. He has made several experimental and feature short films in the following years such as Zero O’clock, Light Blue and a documentary short film Homeland. He held From Idea to the Script and Film Criticism workshop in Central Council of Film and Photography of IKIU. Syncope is his first official underground short film which screened in Sayeh short film festival in 2022. He is currently a film student and a part of IYCS (Iranian Youth Cinema Society) workshop.
