Ernesto, a 60-year-old man, passes away days before his daughter's wedding. After dying, he finds himself in an office talking to Death itself and discovers that he must prove that he has fulfilled his purpose in life or else he will be condemned to wander like a lost soul, but Ernesto refuses to die because he still has unfinished business in the world of the living.
