Esta llamada la escucha una persona que vive en la ciudad y lleva años sin entender cómo nos hemos alejado de la naturaleza y la forma en que se vive en las ciudades actuales. A partir de este llamado, inicia un viaje que le hace sumergirse en el Bierzo, en el soto de castaños y con diferentes personas del Bierzo que nos cuentan su particular visión, sus sentimientos sobre la región y sobre los retos de futuro. De una región que quiere volver a unirse, para poner en valor su patrimonio natural y crear las bases de su forma de vida futura.
