Lori becomes distraught when her best friend, Cindy Roth, drowns under mysterious circumstances while on a trip with her husband, Randy. Determined to honor Cindy and learn the truth, she starts to uncover disturbing evidence from Randy's past.
Perfectionist, soccer star, straight A student Millie Blake did not picture starting her senior year receiving a month of community service at a local nursing home after trying to break up a fight at school. To make matters worse, Millie is stuck at the home with the instigator of the fight: Andy Wellick–another senior, who is outspoken about her identity as a lesbian on the asexual spectrum. Initially the two girls butt heads, but the tension quickly blossoms into friendship as the learn more about each other.
