This film is included in Taigi Cinema program by Taigi TV Station . Kuo-lun's family returns home for the funeral of his grandmother, who was killed in a car accident. Having not spoken with his family in a long time, Kuo-lun comes home as a trans woman. Then, he finds out the person who killed his grandmother was his first love. Besides facing his father, who is unwilling to accept him, he also has to deal with financial entanglements between relatives and their complicated past. Yet, he still wants to see his grandmother one last time.
Mickey is a twenty-something Taiwanese woman: sporting short hair, a baseball cap, and impressive tattoos, she’s both tough and depressed. Her best friend, Gin Gin, is an ultra-femme bleached blonde go-go dancer. Gin discovers she’s pregnant while her boyfriend is ghosting her. Since he’s also in Guangzhou, Micky and Gin Gin decide to head out on the road together. After their luggage is stolen, they’re taken in by a stranger and introduced to a glitzy, bizarrely otherworldly urban metropolis, and their road trip takes several strange and frightening turns.
