Mykola es un pacifista excéntrico que quiere ser útil a la humanidad. Cuando comienza la guerra en Donbass, el ingenuo mundo de Mykola se derrumba cuando los militantes matan a su esposa embarazada y queman su casa hasta los cimientos. Recuperado, toma una decisión cardinal y se enrola en una compañía de francotiradores. Habiendo conocido a los asesinos de su esposa, se derrumba emocionalmente y organiza el "terror de francotiradores" para el enemigo. Es salvado de una muerte sin sentido por su instructor, quien a su vez es herido de muerte. La muerte de un amigo deja una “cicatriz” y Mykola está dispuesto a sacrificar su vida.

As Carpathian legend has it, Oleksa Dovbush was a heroic outlaw with excellent fighting skills and a gift to predict the future. He was left an orphan as a small boy after a local lord murdered Oleksa's mother. After spending his childhood in exile in the mountains, he returned as a grown man to avenge his mother's death. Oleksa gathered followers to begin a crusade against the lord, but destiny made other plans for him.
