Intensa película de acción inspirada en los clásicos de artes marciales y kung-fu de la cultura oriental. El film está dirigido por uno de los más antiguos colaboradores del productor, el músico RZA, quien también escribe el guion junto a otro veterano cómplice de Tarantino, el artista estadounidense Eli Roth. RZA debuta como director en la gran pantalla con este largometraje, que narra una legendaria historia sobre un héroe forastero y solitario en la China del siglo XIX. Los protagonistas de la historia tendrán que luchar contra un desalmado clan que intentará destruir su comunidad. El extranjero herrero de la ciudad, dedicado a la creación de armas desde su llegada, invocará una extraordinaria energía mística con el objetivo de convertirse en una potente arma humana. Deberá aprovechar su poder para frenar las actuaciones de la organización enemiga y proteger a los habitantes de su entorno.

Shanghai, 1942. La ciudad está ocupada por los japoneses. La señora Mak, una mujer rica y sofisticada, recuerda cómo empezó todo en 1938. Su verdadero nombre no es Mak, sino Wong Chia Chi. Poco antes de estallar la II Guerra Mundial (1939-1945), su padre huyó a Inglaterra y la dejó en China. Era estudiante universitaria y conoció a Kuang Yu Min, que acababa de fundar una compañía de teatro para fomentar el patriotismo. Wong Chia Chi se convirtió en la primera actriz de la compañía. Kuang, por su parte, convenció a un grupo de estudiantes para que asesinaran al señor Yee, un importante colaborador de los japoneses. Wong Chia Chi colaboró en el plan haciéndose pasar por la señora Mak: su cometido era hacerse amiga de la mujer de Yee para ganarse la confianza de éste y seducirlo. Kuk Fung quickly falls in love with Carlily (Kuk Fung's friend). Meanwhile, Little Kuk-ku has met a new friend, Wo who is working at the noodle bar. As the vacation is going, the nodle bar has to be closed. Mr Kuk's business performance didn't come up to his expectations, but it ends up with two puppy loves.
And I Hate You So

Luna Ng is a columnist who gave her first boyfriend a vinyl record as a gift. She later discovers that same vinyl record in a second hand store so she attempts to buy it back. However, another person ends up buying it before her. She finds out that the new owner of the record is Cheung Yung, a radio host. Luna ends up both loving and detesting Yung after he comments on her love life on radio. The story is about the battle of two willful and creative characters.

However, Louie later finds out that Julia is dating his father, Kent (Paul Chu). Louie then leaves Hong Kong and heads to Paris leaving his career behind. Then he meets, Yuan Yu-shih (Cecilia Yip), a Vietnamese refugee that suffers from a war wound. In Paris, Louie lives his new life happily as a dishwasher with his new lover. However, his past life starts to come back when Anita comes to pay a visit.
