"DE LAMPERTSBIERG is a documentary series about Limpertsberg, a district of the city of Luxembourg. It was researched and directed by Joy Hoffmann, with the support of the "Amis de l'histoire du Limpertsberg". The film is produced by the "Centre national de l'audiovisuel" (CNA). The film is presented as a series of six episodes, each lasting approximately 35 minutes. The film is based on interviews with local personalities, archive footage from the CNA and RTL, newly shot footage as well as photos and documents from Luxembourg archives and private collections. "De Lampertsbierg" is a personal look at the neighbourhood by the director who has spent his whole life there. The series describes specific aspects of the district, but also reflects 150 years of history of the city of Luxembourg, if not the whole country.

Ronnie lives in a small sleepy village and is the owner of a small company for deep-frozen goods. Daydreams, contact ads, the firemen's brassband, the weekly visits at his shrink and his buddy Lars' cynical remarks about air guitar and vinyl-records are the highlights of Ronnie's life. Already, as a kid, he suffered from being under the pressure of his power- and manhood-fixed mother. Ronnie's feelings are as deep-frozen as his goods. Until the day, a wonderful being - one of the female kind - strands in the village. The local priest hires the young girl, a groupie with the name of Zoya, as housekeeper and within days, Zoya turns the whole manship of the village mad and horny. Also Ronnie falls for Zoya and, well yes, lucky for once, marries her. However, since the presence of Zoya, strange things have happened in the village. Everybody who tries to search in Zoya's unkown past dies, disappears. Slowly that well-known fear sneaks into Ronnie's body: men's fear of women.

Cuando el caballero Jorge regresa de las Cruzadas a su Inglaterra natal, su único sueño es llevar una vida tranquila y en paz ocupándose de sus tierras. Pero para poder tomar posesión de las mismas tendrá que ayudar primero a encontrar a la hija del rey Edgar, que ha desaparecido misteriosamente. Junto a Garth de Guerney, prometido de la princesa Lunna, se lanzan en busca de ésta y, tras varias aventuras, la encuentran. Pero Lunna no está secuestrada, sino que está custodiando un huevo de dragón, que también es codiciado por un grupo de mercenarios. Lunna quiere mantener con vida el huevo, pero Jorge es partidario de destruirlo. Garth, vista la falta de entusiasmo de Lunna respecto a su matrimonio, decide raptarla para luego arrebatar el trono al rey Edgar. Al final todos se verán implicados en una batalla en la que aparece un visitante inesperado: la madre del pequeño dragón.
