Frank Devil, se lastima justo unos días antes de que la competición de vela arranque, lo que lleva a Yann a participar en su lugar. Al noveno día, Yann tiene que detenerse en Cabo Verde debido a que su barco se ha averiado y tiene que repararlo. Cuando regresa al mar de nuevo, se percata de que algo ha cambiado. Yann decide seguir dando la vuelta al mundo, a pesar del riesgo de ser descalificado por haber parado durante la regata.

A long time ago, a young Russian general chose to sacrifice hundreds of birds to burn Moscow and save his motherland from the troops of Napoleon.
