Richa Gangopadhyay is a former Indian film actress and model who predominantly appeared in Telugu films. She has also appeared in a few Tamil and Bengali films. She is pursuing an MBA degree from Washington University, USA. After appearing in commercials, she made her film debut with Telugu political drama film Leader (2010) and later worked on several commercially successful Telugu films like Nagavalli (2010), Mirapakaay (2011), Sarocharu (2012) and Mirchi (2013). She also played the lead in two Tamil films, including Dabangg remake, Osthe (2012), and critically acclaimed film, Mayakkam Enna (2012), directed by Selvaraghavan, for which she received numerous 'Best Actress' awards. She also appeared in the Bengali film Bikram Singha. In October 2013, Gangopadhyay announced that she would leave the film industry and move back to the USA to pursue her MBA. In short span of four years career, she starred along with prominent Telugu, Tamil and Bengali actors like Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Ravi Teja, Prabhas, Dhanush and Prosenjit.

Gupi (Prosenjit Chatterjee) is a small-time conman in love with Madhu (Richa Gangopadhyay), a pretty woman whom he met at a wedding he wasn't invited to. Into this picture, the world enters six-year-old Osmita (Baby Titli), who inexplicably believes Gupi to be her dad. And if this wasn't bad enough, Gupi becomes the object of a series of life-threatening attacks by a gang of criminals who seem to know something he doesn't. While trying desperately to save his life and love, Gupi stumbles upon a deadly secret. A secret that will take him to a small town named Debgarh: A town terrorized by its ruthless MLA and the mafia he controls; a town whose inhabitants' only hope for redemption is Gupi. Later, he learns that ACP Bikram Singha Roy (Prosenjit Chatterjee), his look alike, is in danger from criminals.

Rishi (Ravi Teja) is an inspector in the Intelligence Bureau. His colleagues fondly call him 'Mirapakaay'. The chief of the IB, Narayana Murthy (Nagababu) gets information that Kittu Bhai (Prakash Raj), a mafia don, is trying to spread his tentacles in India and is targeting Delhi first. During the course of the investigation, ACP (Sanjay Swaroop) is killed by Shankar (Kota Srinivasa Rao), a local goon with the help of his son (Supreet). Murthy sends Rishi to Hyderabad and gets him admitted to a college as a Hindi lecturer as part of an undercover operation. Rishi meets Vinamra (Richa Gangopadhyay) at a temple & falls in love at first sight. Incidentally, she studies in the same college and in the same class to which Rishi teaches Hindi. Their love blossoms. At this juncture, Vaishali (Deeksha Seth), daughter of Kittu Bhai, joins the same college. Grabbing the opportunity, the IB chief asks Rishi to extract information about Kittu from Vaishali.

Gowri/Chandramukhi alias Nagavalli (present)

After a family member receives a Nagavalli portrait as a prize in the Nagavalli Dance competition, various characters start having abnormal experiences. In order to save themselves and unfold the mystery, the family looks to Ramachandra Acharya and Dr. Vijay.
