A man spends the night at an hotel in an unnamed city in southern Chile. It's late and he finds himself unable to sleep. He's bored. He feels confused about what to do next. He wishes to eat and to urinate. He's sexually excited. The image of a naked woman appears on the TV screen.

Un joven ejecutivo aborda un vagón del metro y se da cuenta de que un viejo sucio y haraposo está sentado sólo en un extremo del vagón, mientras en el otro extremo, más de una treintena de individuos no dejan de lanzar miradas de rechazo y desaprobación al viejo. ¿Qué lado del vagón elegirá el ejecutivo?
