La historia comienza con la muerte de Ram ( Dhanush ). Su esposa Janani ( Shruti Haasan ) se da cuenta de que su marido no murió de forma natural, como ella encuentra su habitación manchada con manchas de sangre. Ella recuerda recuerdos de cuando se conocieron y la historia comienza con un flashback cuando Ram y Janani eran estudiantes de 12º grado. Ram es un rico hombre feliz y despreocupado.
