Louis Pothen (Mammootty) is an all rounder. He is divorce lawyer, he participates in live TV channel debates on various topics, and he is a film critic, too. His wife Vasuki Iyer (Nayantara) is a Kathakali artist, and together with his school-going daughter, they live in a city highrise. The story further focuses on an incident that sort of transformed the lively Vasuki into an introvert. What follows is a dramatic exploration of Vasuki's recent past and how she gets over it.

Meanwhile on one side, Varyar's honesty is growing to be a bigger headache as each day passes for Pathrose.

The suspense is well maintained until the climax with little clue to the audience on the identity of the real culprit. The arguments in court were mostly inspired from 12 Angry Men (1957).

Years later Philip gets married to Cicily (Sobhana) and one day mysteriously Raju comes back to their house alive.

They demand the release of their old colleagues languishing in prison in exchange for safe release of the politicians. An ex-cop is hired to free the officials from the group of terrorists.

Vinitha, the daughter of multimillionaire Mathews, marries Babu despite her father's objection. However, she struggles to cope with her loneliness after Babu's death.
