True story about the tragic nuclear power plant accident in Chernobyl.

In an ordinary industrial Soviet town, notable only for presence of a radio-telescope, people start behaving strangely, in a robotic manner, while assuming geometry-inspired aliases and organizing into a new hierarchy. The phenomenon spreads via a device of alien origin, called “the mediator”, capable of implanting extraterrestrial minds into human bodies. The aliens are bound by limitations of the terrestrial technology, having to use the means at the disposal of humans to prepare the grounds for the full-scale invasion. With “the mediator" being unable to subdue minds of children, lunatics, geniuses, and rebels, a struggle over the fate of the town and the human civilization ensues.

The events unfold on the cruiser "Svetlana", one of the Russian ships that participated in the fighting of the Russo-Japanese war. The cruiser is attacked. After the fire is over, the crew decides to flood the ship so that it does not get to the enemy. Only five sailors can survive. They arrive on Korean land and are sent to the Russian territory, on the way they face various dangers.

Mafia kidnaps an investigator's little son after he discovers massive thefts on a local shoe factory. With the help of his three old friends, two cops and a newspaper reporter he struggles to rescue his son and close the case at the same time.

Felix, a 12-year-old boy from outer space, during the summer holidays gets admitted into a summer children's sports camp. Few people know in the camp that Felix is not there by chance, and a few days ago he was created in a school laboratory because a space intellect sent him as an agent to planet earth to study humans. He is assisted by an ordinary boy Boris and a teacher who explains Felix local traditions and customs.

Soviet "Manchurian candidate"

The film is based on Sergei Narovchatov’s poem. Vassily Buslayev is an epic Russian hero who rose to defend the freedom and independence of his people. The strength and power of this son of a Novgorod governor, his friendship with simple folk enraged and scared the rich, fat merchants of the city. When they learned that the young man was setting out on a march to save his native land from the enemy, they couldn’t be more happy: how could he defeat a foe so mighty! But Vassily overcomes all intrigues and brings his expedition to a victorious end. He returns home a hero, and not alone but with a sweetheart. When a threat of enemy invasion again looms over Novgorod, people come and beg Vassily to defend their native land.

Andrei Pavlovich Buzykin, que se gana la vida enseñando en un instituto y traduciendo literatura inglesa, está engañando a su mujer. El principal problema de Buzykin es que es un hombre con un débil carácter. Las mentiras que está contando a su mujer son poco convincentes, pero nunca tiene el coraje de decirla la verdad. Su amante, Alla, es consciente de su vida familiar, pero se ofende cuando, por ejemplo, no puede cumplir con ella para no llegar tarde a casa, o cuando no quiere ir a casa con una nueva chaqueta que le da para no tener que dar explicaciones a su esposa. Alla y Nina, la mujer de Andrei, le dejan, le olvidan, y vuelven con él al mismo tiempo, y Andrei continúa con este tipo de vida, llena de sufrimiento y engaño. Finalmente, ambas mujeres son tan alimentadas con sus mentiras que no le creen incluso cuando está diciendo la verdad...
