A young married couple with two early-school children plans to spend the weekend in a colossal theme park, a perk that comes with a family package called “The Joy of Living”. On-site, the woman discovers her husband has attempted suicide in a hotel room.

El ensayo general de la obra navideña del jardín de infantes se convierte en un juicio sobre un travieso niño de 5 años, defendido por la pareja de la madre del niño. Inicialmente impulsado por motivos egoístas, el hombre comienza a madurar en el papel de padre durante el juicio.

Una pareja perfecta alquila una casa de vacaciones en una isla soleada de Italia. La realidad no está a la altura de sus expectativas cuando se dan cuenta de que la piscina de la casa está estropeada. Ignorando que la isla sufre escasez de agua, piden que alguien la arregle. La presencia constante de un extraño invade la idea de seguridad de la pareja y pone en marcha una cadena de acontecimientos que les hace actuar de forma instintiva e irracional, encaminándose hacia el lugar más oscuro de su relación.

A story about the tragic fate of a Jewish political activist who committed suicide on 12th May 1943 in London. What he did was supposed to be a sign of protest against the world’s passive attitude towards the tragedy of Holocaust. The story is told from the point of view of a young British journalist who, as most of the people living in the West back then, was unaware of the extent of the crime taking place in the east of Europe at that time.

Un policía es asesinado y el jefe de policía con poco personal envía a algunos oficiales con experiencia para que lo apoyen en su lucha contra el crimen organizado. Mientras tanto, se intensifica el conflicto entre los grupos locales de gánsteres.
