The former waiter Ernst Held believes himself to be called higher and seeks self-realization as a poet. When he recites poems to his wife's beautician in an ambiguous situation, his wife puts him out the door. Completely destitute, the thwarted poet must therefore return to the lowlands of life and become the head in the Munich pub "Goldener Löffel".

A young architect is locked up in prison. He recalls his uncompromising youth and gradual sliding into the moral swamp of compromises. He was not alone. A group of his friends, dreamers and glass house builders, accompanied him.

Narra las jornadas revolucionarias en los astilleros navales de Gdansk (o Danzig) protagonizadas por los obreros del sindicato Solidaridad, en el verano de 1980. Film based on real events - investigation and court trials of the most famous pre-war Polish murder case. Despite being historically accurate the movie is both involving and entertaining since the case was simple on the surface, but very complicated in details.

"Balance matrimonial" narra la historia de una mujer de poco más de 30 años, quien trabaja sólo unas horas como funcionaria, feliz, casada y con un hijo, que un día se siente atraída por cambiar de vida cotidiana: toma contacto fortuitamente con un antiguo compañero de gimnasio e intenta "liberarse" de sus obligaciones como madre y esposa.
