Historia
Philippe Bruneau débute au théâtre, jouant dans les Précieuses Ridicules sur la scène du théâtre de Chaillot en 1959 et dans plusieurs pièces de Marc'O sur celle d'Édouard VII. Il participe à l'aventure du café-théâtre dans les années 1970. Il fait notamment partie de la troupe de La Veuve Pichard, aux côtés de Martin Lamotte, Roland Giraud ou Gérard Lanvin. Il écrit Elle voit des nains partout, pièce en alexandrins mettant en scène une Blanche-Neige nymphomane, qualifiée de « gaulois et débridé » par la critique. Il la joue avec Claire Nadeau pendant quatre ans à la Cour des miracles, avant qu'elle soit adaptée au cinéma. Au cinéma, on le voit également dans Roi de cœur de Philippe de Broca en 1966, Salut l'artiste d'Yves Robert en 1973, Vous n'aurez pas l'Alsace et la Lorraine de Coluche en 1977, Les Babas Cool en 1981 ou dans Un Indien dans la ville d'Hervé Palud en 1994. À la télévision, il sera un fidèle complice de Stéphane Collaro dans ses émissions.

As a parody of Hollywood cop films, the story is set somewhere in the American Midwest as fabricated by the French. After losing his regular partner, FBI agent Richard Bullit (Merad) gets assigned to the book-learned cop Riper (Barroux) to investigate the death of a stripper. American movie stereotypes abound, such as shock jock Phil Canon (Gérard Darmon) and sheriff Steve Marley (Jean-Paul Rouve).

The only problem was that the Dialos organized many parties, which often ended late at night. The patience and understanding of the Marchands only delay the inevitable conflict.

Building contractor Patrick is unaware that Helene, his wife for 15 years, intends to celebrate their wedding anniversary with a surprise party. She's invited friends and relatives to spend the weekend at their blue house. Elsewhere down the road, at an identical blue house, Patrick and his other love, Elizabeth, the mother of his two-year-old daughter, are planning an engagement party for the son of their neighbor. Neither woman knows about the other, and this sticky situation requires Patrick to rush back and forth from one blue house to another throughout the evening. The story is told in flashback by Patrick -- from his hospital bed.
