In the quiet calm of the Welsh foothills, Danny Jones reaches the age of seventeen with a strong desire to break away from the strict influence of his father.

Like the play from which it derived, the film tells of the early struggles of composer Edvard Grieg and his attempts to develop an authentic Norwegian national music. It stars Toralv Maurstad as Grieg and features an international cast including Florence Henderson, Christina Schollin, Robert Morley, Harry Secombe, Oskar Homolka, Edward G. Robinson and Frank Porretta (as Rikard Nordraak). Filmed in Super Panavision 70 by Davis Boulton and presented in single-camera Cinerama in some countries, it was an attempt to capitalise on the success of The Sound of Music.

The young daughter of a park ranger in Tanzania is distressed to learn that she and her father must permanently return to England, thus separating her from the one thing she loves most, a pet Bushbaby. Fearing what the future holds she decides to set the pet free but while doing so misses the boat back to England. After meeting up with a friendly native they try to resolve the situation together. Things take a turn for the worse when it is falsely reported that the native has kidnapped her, thus putting a price on his head

Después de que un almacén del museo local sufre un incendio, Grove, el director del mismo, y su ayudante Pimm, lo encuentran todo destruído. Sólo una estatua ha salido misteriosamente indemne. En apenas unos instantes, Grove es hallado muerto. Pimm descubre que la estatua está maldita y que resistirá cualquier intento que se haga para destruirla, así que decide utilizarla para sus propios fines.
