Michiru Oshima

It is August 12th. After the remote control to his boarding house's only air conditioning unit is inadvertently destroyed by spilled cola, "I" devises a plan to return to yesterday in a time machine to recover the remote before it breaks. However, his prankster friend Ozu cannot resist playing with past events, even if it means bringing the universe to the brink of destruction. Now "I" finds himself racing through time to avoid disaster.

Esta historia tiene lugar en el Spa Resort Hawaiians, un hotel de temática hawaiana ubicado en la prefectura de Fukushima. Seguimos a Natsunagi Hiwa, una novata del Hula que ha decidido hacer una carrera en este campo. Seguiremos así su avance en esta disciplina.

Adaptación de una exitosa novela de Tomohiko Mori publicada en 2006, producida por el equipo responsable de la serie "Tatami Galaxy" y dirigida por el aclamado Masaaki Yuasa ("Ping Pong", "Adventure Time"), siendo su segundo largometraje tras "Mind Game".

In the morning of 19 March 1985 a Turkish Airlines aircraft takes off for Tehran to evacuate the Japanese. But the remaining Turks at Tehran Mehrabad Airport still need to be convinced that they won't be able to board their own country's rescue flight.

La historia está protagonizada por Kurumi y Hal, una pareja de enamorados que sufre un accidente de avión estando de viaje. Kurumi sobrevive, pero Hal muere en el accidente. Kurumi ha perdido la ilusión por la vida, y entonces le proporcionan un androide Q01 como “robot Hal” para que le haga compañía. Poco a poco Kurumi va abriéndose al androide…

La historia sigue a Ichiro Satou, un chico que padeció el síndrome del chuunibyou, llamándose a si mismo “Colmillo Blanco” y argumentando que era un antihéroe que debía matar al Dios Dragón, y que fue víctima de bullying en su instituto, obligándolo a tener que abandonarlo. Ahora ya en su nuevo instituto, todo va bien hasta que un día, cuando se cuela en el colegio de noche para recoger un libro que se había olvidado, se encuentra con una chica(Ryoko Satou) vestida de manera muy rara y con un bastón bastante peculiar que se denomina a sí misma como “una investigadora en busca de la terminal de dragón”.

Inspirada por una bruja llamada Brillante Chariot, la animada Akko Kagari entra en la Academia de la pequeña bruja con el sueño de algún día llegar a ser igual a su ídola.

La novela original de "Fuse Gansaku: Satomi Hakkenden" es una re-adaptación de "Nansô Satomi Hakkenden", una historia clásica japonesa del siglo XIX escrita por Kyokutei Bakin. Cuenta la historia de ocho samuráis al servicio del clan Satomi durante el periodo Sengoku, que en realidad son reencarnaciones de ocho espíritus criados por la princesa Fuse, y un perro llamado Yatsufusa. En esta adaptación de Sakuraba, la cazadora Hamaji busca matar a Fuse, comenzando así un nuevo ciclo de muerte y venganza.

Lord Asano was ordered to commit ritual suicide and the Ako clan abolished. Facing up to the gravity of this unfair ruling, since only one party was being punished instead of both as would be usual, Oishi decides to lead the loyal former retainers in an attack on Lord Kira so that he could take Kira’s head to his lord’s gravesite so that Lord Asano could finally rest in peace.

Set during the Meiji Restoration period of Edo era Japan, Naoyuki belongs to the 8th generation of the Inoyama family, a wealthy family known for finance & accounting. He is also a gifted mathematician and uses the abacus with extreme skills. Naoyuki works under the declining Kaga domain. Kohei Miyazaki (Naoto Takenaka), a former railroad worker, has become obsessed with discovering the ancient country of Yamataikoku. The period of late World War II, Toshiko was living in downtown Tokyo with her family. Japan was more towards losing the War at the time and people were suffering with lack of materials. On March 10th 1945, she lost her mother and two younger sisters by the bombing in Tokyo. She picked up "Glass Rabbit", which shape was changed by the fire, out of the wreck one day and she experienced the terror of the War. Moreover when she had to evacuate to the suburbs, her father was killed by US army on the way at the station. Now that she became all alone, she felt so lonely and despaired that she almost found no meaning to be alive. But despite of her loneliness and sorrow, she aroused herself, thinking about all her family who were gone. "I must survive for my family.... Otherwise, who will be visiting their grave." This is the story of one girl, which should not be forgotten.

In 1868, after the fall of the Shogun-dominated Japan, the new government orders people from Awaji, near Kobe, to re-locate to the northern part of Hokkaido. These people once supported the now displaced Samurais of the older days. After two years, over 500 of them settled in their new land under the leadership of Hideaki, husband of Shino. However, as crops fail he is to go to Sapporo to learn new techniques of farming, leaving his wife and daughter for 5 years. All this time, the new community is constantly watched by the government which choose to again uproot them from their new homes.
