Strawberry Shortcake and her friends journey over the rainbow in a berry enchanting retelling of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! When a cyclone blows Strawberry to Oz, she runs afoul of a Wicked Witch and must journey to the Emerald City to ask the Wizard for help getting home. With her faithful dog Pupcake by her side, Strawberry meets Ginger Snap as the Scarecrow, Peppermint Fizz as the Tin Woodsgirl, and Orange Blossom as the Cowardly Lion. After making a big impression down the Berry Brick Road, the Munchkin-like Berrykins call on Strawberry and her friends to save the Gem-Berries whose glow lights the whole land of Oz. The Berrykins have been wasting what few Gem-Berries are left, and the Wicked Witch is out to destroy them entirely. It's up to Strawberry and her pals to save the day!

It's lights, camera, action! Strawberry Shortcake and friends head off to Berrywood to visit Strawberry's movie star friend, Limelight. When they arrive, they're shocked to see not everything is glitz and glamour. Strawberry must get her friends to come together and help Limelight realize that everyone can shine - because everyone is a star. Soon, Limelight's movie is a berry big success!

The Berry Blossom Festival is underway and everyone in Strawberryland is having a Grand Time, thanks to the selfless help of Strawberry Shortcake: she's really giving this festival all she has! The others decide to recognize her hard work by crowning her the Berry Blossom Queen!

As Strawberry and Coco try to find the thief, they discover a shy girl named Seaberry Delight, and a fabulous new friend! Then, Strawberry, Rainbow Sherbet, Blueberry Muffin, Coco and Seaberry become mermaids in search of hidden treasure. In the process they meet a real-life Sea Beast and try to undo a mysterious magic spell.
