Tres historias sobre los defectos de las mujeres y la búsqueda desesperada del hombre ideal. En la primera, Anna, una mujer culta y cariñosa, y Piero, ignorante y traidor, luchan contra la rutina de un matrimonio de veinte años. En la segunda, el conserje Rocco y su amigo Michele tocan en un grupo que emula a los Beatles: el primero tiene que enfrentarsae a la oposición de su novia, una maestra que trabaja en la misma escuela que él, y el segundo miente a su mujer, que cree que ha dejado la música para siempre. Tras pelearse con su novia, Rocco se instala en casa de Michele y, entonces las mentiras de su amigo amenazan con salir a la luz. Claudio Amerio works in a large factory near Florence. His life was recently turned upside down by the sudden death of his father caused by a heart attack. Claudio, who also lost his mother a few years ago, lives alone in the house that belonged to his parents. Between Claudio and the world now there is a wall, Claudio in fact lives holed up in this house where strange things have been happening for days: disturbing noises, falling paintings, sick energies that turn into nagging dreams...

An odd couple of contrasting cops: one is a disillusioned veteran, the other young, idealistic and speaks fluent Arabic. Ideal for tailing Khalid (Ahmed Hafiene), who was acquitted but is still suspected of having ties with Al-Qaida. The two cops, who initially can't stand each other, find themselves increasingly in contact with the life and habits of Khalid. As the story goes the suspect catches on to them, but when he begins receiving threats the cops become his bodyguards, his escort. Being nearer to him, and knowing him better, the two cops end up making almost friends with the man. At last it comes out that Khalid is the victim of a legal error. He makes accusations against the Italian's justice, but this leads to his expulsion from Italy. The young policeman undertakes a voyage in search of Khalid, that will lead him to Tunisia, and to some final twists.
