Arguably the most anticipated heavy music event of the year is set for Friday November 5th with Slipknot taking over Banc of California Stadium for the Los Angeles edition of the counter-culture celebration that is Knotfest.

A unique and fascinating insight into the career and controversies of one of the most successful and contentious heavy metal bands of all time: Slipknot. The film combines new interviews, backstage access and an exclusive live session from the nine-piece group, performing six career-defining tracks at the legendary Maida Vale Studios in front of an intimate audience. The six tracks, one from each of the band’s albums, transport the group, acknowledged by many as one of the most extreme live acts ever, from their usual arena-sized shows to a uniquely intimate and intense setting. The film highlights the group’s phenomenal 25-year career, revealing how one of the most relentless and intense-sounding groups ever have struggled with drink, drugs, depression and the death of a band member, topped the charts, outsold their peers and picked up a Grammy along the way, whilst staying as bold, fearless and exhilarating as ever.

Everyone is waiting for this. Slipknot’s return to Download festival is and will be an undeniable, unmissable highlight of the weekend. How do I know? Because they always bring everything live. Presenter of the BBC Radio One Rock Show, Daniel P. Carter is granted the chance to speak with band members: Corey Taylor, Shawn Crahan and Jim Root in the wake of their fifth album '.5 The Gray Chapter' whilst on their UK leg of the album tour. The DVD includes a brand new hour long film by the M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan that documents the chaotic Iowa cycle.

Welcome to Our Neighborhood is the first video album by American heavy metal band Slipknot. It was released on November 9, 1999 by Roadrunner Records and later reissued in DVD format on November 18, 2003. Characterized as a band's home video, it features a mixture of live performances footage of the songs "Surfacing", "Wait and Bleed", and "Scissors", interviews, and music video of "Spit It Out". Additional concept imagery and interview footage is included on the film, while the DVD version features more bonus material.

Voliminal: Inside the Nine is the third video album by American metal band Slipknot. Released December 5, 2006 through Roadrunner Records, the 2-disc DVD set features an 84 minute movie created by band member Shawn "Clown" Crahan. The set also includes live performances, music videos from songs on the band's third studio album, Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), and the first unmasked interviews with all of the band members.
