Un ascensor comienza a mostrar un comportamiento errático, como dejar personas atrapadas y casi asfixiarlas o decapitar a un guardia de seguridad. Felix, el técnico de la compañía de ascensores, no puede encontrar nada extraño en los circuitos. Cuando acompañado de una periodista entrometida comienza a hacer preguntas a la empresa que suministra la electrónica a la compañía de ascensores, su jefe le da un permiso para no ir a trabajar.
