When Durgadevi's nephew tells her that her son has been blessed with a baby, she leaves behind all grudges and comes to meet him.

The story of this film revolves around two politicians from the same village. One of them is an elected MLA from Village constituency Narayan Wagh (Makarand Anaspure) and the other being his opponent Vishwasrao Tope(Sayaji Shinde), who has lost the election to Mr. Wagh by a narrow margin. But, Vishwasrao manages to get this nomination as MLC. So, to prove their supremacy, they indulge themselves in dirty politics, so as to turn the tables on each other. And, this clearly goes on to show how murky the politics is at the village level.

It is a story about Vinay (Adinath Kothare) and Madhura (Urmila Kanetkar) decide to spend a year in a remote village as per Vinay's late grandfather's wish. As days pass by, the couple encounters strange experiences.

Industrialization has reached each and every small village in India and the villages here are bearing the brunt of urbanisation in their own way. This is the story of a family residing in one such village. Armed with the prize money of Rs.5 lacs that he won in a singing competition, he returns back to the village to stumble upon a shocking revelation.

Then the lives of this small community are turned upside down, when the owner announces that he intends to tear the building down.

Jaya and Suman, two college mates, once best of friends, are today's sworn enemies. Jaya is in love with Rajesh, who also uses to study in the same college, and who leaves no opportunity to praise Suman just to annoy Jaya although he does reciprocate her feelings. But seeing them together infuriates Rakesh, who also loves Jaya deeply.
