見合い結婚で夫・憲一と結婚した禎子。しかし結婚式から七日後に、夫は仕事の引継で勤務地だった金沢に出かけ、そのまま行方不明となる。夫の過去をほとんど知らない禎子は、憲一の足跡をたどって金沢へ。憲一のかつての得意先の社長夫人・室田佐知子、そして社長のコネで入社し受付嬢をしている田沼久子。2人の女性との出会いが事件のさらなる謎を呼ぶ。夫には自分の知らない別の顔があったのだ。やがて新たな殺人事件が起きる。

A young, mentally retarded boy is wrongfully accused of murder, but his family lacks the means to hire an attorney to defend him. The boy’s sister, Kiriko, pleads with an accomplished attorney named Otsuka to defend her brother pro bono. But because of Otsuka’s busy schedule and other priorities, he refuses to take the case. Lacking a proper defense, Kiriko’s brother is eventually convicted of murder, and dies in prison. From that point on, Kiriko is determined to take revenge against Otuska.

「松本清張生誕100年記念作品・駅路」。2009年4月11日21:00-23:10、フジテレビ系列の「土曜プレミアム」枠にて放映。松本清張生誕100年と向田邦子生誕80年を記念し、向田の脚本に脚色・演出を加え制作された作品。 銀行の営業部長を定年で退職した小塚貞一は、その年の秋の末、簡単な旅行用具を持って家を出たまま、行方不明となった。家出人捜索願を受けて、呼野刑事と北尾刑事は捜査を始める。家庭は平和と見えたし、子供も成長し、一人は結婚もした。人生の行路を大方歩いて、やれやれという境涯に身を置いていたように思える。自殺する原因もない。自分から失踪したとすれば、何のためにそのような行動を取ったのか……。

「松本清張没後20年特別企画・危険な斜面」。2012年9月30日21:00-23:09、フジテレビ系列にて放映。歌舞伎座で会社の得意先の接待に参加していた秋場文作は、ロビーで自社の会長・西島卓平の愛人を目にするが、呼び止められて、10年前の自分が何度か交渉を持った女・野関利江であると気づく。野関利江は秋場文作に電話番号を教え、交渉が復活する。秋場文作は、出世したい男であった。重役、部長、課長、平社員といった順序が、人生の階段として、絶えず意識にハシゴ型の影を落としていた。今の野関利江は西島会長の妾だから利用価値があるのだ、と秋場文作は考えた。しかし、野関利江は秋場文作を恋人と考えた。自分が老いて西島会長から捨てられる前に、秋場文作をつないでおきたいのだった。感情を沸騰させはじめた女を前に、秋場文作は黒い計画をめぐらす。

『松本清張〜坂道の家』。2014年12月6日（21:00-23:06）、テレビ朝日系列で「松本清張二夜連続ドラマスペシャル」の第一夜として放送。本ドラマオリジナルストーリーとして、杉田りえ子の過去を描いている。
