ある日、火星にあるユニオン宇宙社オルドゥヴァイ研究所から“極秘研究の被験者が脱出、至急ここを封鎖しろ”との救援要請が入る。早速、カリフォルニア海兵隊特殊作戦本部ＲＲＴＳ＜緊急対応戦略部隊＞の精鋭８人が選ばれ、火星へと送り込まれる。そして捜索を開始した彼らの前に、到底人間とは思えない巨大な影が出現、ついにはメンバーから犠牲者が出てしまう。この未曾有の事態を前にして、リーダーを務める冷徹な軍人サージと隊員の一人リーパーとの間で作戦をめぐって対立が深まっていく…。

タイムマシンの開発によって時間犯罪が多発。そこで時空間の管理を行なう警察組織が創設された。2004年、その任務にあたっていた捜査官のウォーカーはある事件の黒幕が次期大統領候補でもあるマコームであることに気づく。1994年に赴き、その調査を行なうウォーカーだったが、それは彼の妻が死亡した年でもあった。

『ドラゴンハート』（英語: Dragonheart）は、1996年に公開されたロブ・コーエンによるアメリカ合衆国の映画作品。ドラゴンが存在する中世のヨーロッパを舞台としたファンタジー映画。続編として、『ドラゴンハート 新たなる旅立ち』『ドラゴンハート 最後の闘い』が製作されている。
