The McRib is Back (2022)

夏休みを利用しておばちゃまの羽臼屋敷を訪れる“オシャレ”と6人の友人。だがおばちゃまはすでにこの世の人ではなく、戦死した恋人への思いだけで存在し続ける生き霊だったのだ。そして若返るためには少女を食べなければならない。ピアノや時計が少女たちを次々に襲い、羽臼屋敷は人喰い屋敷と化した……。

A surreal mosaic pieced together from fractured memories and childhood recollections as told by an unnamed narrator who relives a traumatic incident from his past. A time when people went about their lives, and yet, they told tales of a predator who stalked the streets at night, sneaking into windows and adducting the innocent; this menace went by one name, Pastor Jessup.

Archive footage from 2006 - 2010 of a young girl growing up during the ages of four to eight. Only fragments of what is remembered exists. Words from a transgender man float to the surface as fleeting memories go on.

After a catastrophic global war, a young filmmaker awakens in the carnage and seeks refuge in the only other survivor: an eccentric, ideologically opposed figure of the United States military. Together, they brave the toxic landscape in search of safety... and answers.

A filmmaker alone in a forest

Set in a nightmarish Bardo, a place between death and rebirth, a tormented writer faces down demons of his own making. Forced to confront the darkest moment in his life, he mines fractured and repressed memories for a way out. A woman is at the center of all the writer’s afterlife encounters. She is the subject of his life’s greatest regret, and she materializes everywhere in this Otherworld. The writer cannot detach any thoughts of his life from her.

This is a simple test, with a small and personal motivation to improve the history of motion and time, in the mind of the filmmaker. Hanife released it on 20 July 2018 while he had started executive part from 3 weeks before it.

When he understood it was all a dream. He decided to stay until eternity, darker since you died.
