2020年。東京オリンピックを終えた日本は、不景気に陥っていた。1,000円に値上がりした缶ビールを買うのもちゅうちょするほど困窮しているカイジ(藤原竜也)は、帝愛グループの企業の一つを任されるまでになった大槻と再会する。カイジは、金を持て余した富豪の老人が主催するイベントで自分と組んで大金を得ようと持ち掛ける大槻の誘いに、一抹の不安を覚えながらも乗ることにする。
